Football legend Wayne Rooney is about to enter the world of Boxing.

Football legend Wayne Rooney could be about to enter the world of boxing. Producer Mams Taylor claims it’s only a matter of when Rooney will consider taking the ring.

According to Mams Taylor, music producer and manager of the Misfits Boxing martial arts event, Rooney will eventually take part in a boxing match, and it’s just a matter of time.
Rooney, who was born and raised in Merseyside, used to box when he was young. He is known for his powerful style on the pitch and his passion for martial arts, especially boxing.
This year, speculation about Rooney joining Misfits Boxing, the boxing arena of famous stars managed by KSI and Taylor, has attracted a lot of attention. Although Rooney has had preliminary talks with Misfits, his football coaching career remains his priority, especially after taking over as Plymouth manager.

However, Taylor is confident: “Wayne has expressed an interest. I think it’s a matter of time and it depends on when he’s ready. When Wayne wants to fight, we’ll welcome him.”

In fact, some of Rooney’s former teammates have also dabbled in boxing, notably Phil Bardsley, who famously knocked Rooney down during a drunken training session.
Danny Simpson, another former Manchester United and Leicester City player, became the first to compete in the Misfits system when he drew four rounds with a YouTuber. Taylor also revealed that Simpson’s success has inspired other footballers, and even athletes from other sports, to try their hand at boxing.

Taylor said: “There are famous players, credible former players who have expressed interest and want to participate. I think it will happen gradually. But I will not reveal the names, because it will spoil the surprise.” According to Taylor, boxing is not an easy sport, especially for those who have not grown up in a fighting environment. “You need to be mentally and physically prepared to enter the ring,” Taylor said.
New athletes may be hesitant, but when they accept the challenge, the feeling of fighting becomes an unforgettable experience.

“Simpson shared that it was the best experience he has ever had in his life. I believe there will be many athletes, especially from the sports world, participating next year,” Taylor confided.
With his strong fighting spirit, can Rooney conquer the ring, just like he shined on the field? Let’s wait and see!
