Fans are once again defending Kim against accusations that she’s “lying” about the authenticity of North’s latest painting — three years after she slammed the “embarrassing” people who doubted her skills.

Back in 2021, Kim Kardashian memorably slammed people who questioned the authenticity of her eldest daughter North West’s artwork.

Kim had shared a photo of North, then 7, proudly holding up a very impressive, Bob Ross-style painting. “My little artist North,” she wrote alongside a close-up shot of the piece.

Several people quickly speculated that there was “no way” a 7-year-old could’ve painted such a detailed scene, and took to social media to accuse Kim of lying.

But Kim quickly made it clear that she had no time for the “grown adults” who were “doubting” North’s skills, writing on her Instagram story: “My daughter and her best friend have been taking a serious oil painting class where their talents and creativity are being encouraged and nurtured.”

“North worked incredibly hard on her painting which took several weeks to complete,” she went on. “As a proud mom, I wanted to share her work with everyone.”

“I’m seeing op-ed pieces in the media and social media from grown adults breaking down whether or not my child actually painted this. How dare you see children doing awesome things and then try to accuse them of NOT being awesome?!” she wrote, before adding, “Please stop embarrassing yourselves with the negativity and allow every child to be GREAT!!!”

Ever since, Kim has continued to proudly flaunt North’s work — including several impressive sketches of Ice Spice, Kris Jenner, and Psalm West earlier this year — while describing her as a “really, really good artist” during an interview with Vogue last February.

“North west is so good at art,” one person tweeted after her drawings were shared. “Is north west like??? an art prodigy?? or are they faking,” another wrote.

And now, Kim is once again sharing North’s art with the world.

Taking to Instagram, Kim shared a photo of a beautiful beach sunset painting placed up on an easel, and wrote, “North’s new painting.”

Perhaps unsurprisingly, North’s latest painting immediately caused another huge stir online, with several users doubting its authenticity once again.

“Kimberly loves 2 things: lying & photoshop,” one person wrote. “She always lying,” another user echoed.

However, several users were quick to defend Kim against the accusations that she wasn’t being truthful.

“This is what financial support in youth looks like. It’s easy to cultivate talent with big resources,” someone wrote. “Her kids are well traveled and exposed, so she has loads of inspiration,” another comment read.
