Chris Brown congratulated Rihanna on the birth of her son with ASAP Rocky, in a surprising gesture of goodwill and maturity.

The singer, who had a tumultuous and abusive relationship with Rihanna in the past, posted a heartfelt message on his Instagram story, saying that he was happy for her and her family.

“Congrats to @rihanna and @asaprocky on their new baby boy! I’m genuinely happy for you guys and I wish you all the best.

You deserve all the love and happiness in the world. God bless your son and your family,” Brown wrote, along with a blue heart emoji.

Brown’s message came as a shock to many fans and followers, who were not expecting him to acknowledge or celebrate Rihanna’s baby news.
