Hence, it is almost probable that the two-time world champion will stick to his beloved sport. However, his new training videos have encouraged fans to wonder if the fighter is planning a move into MMA.

AJ shared a video of him working out in the gym on his Instagram story, which started off this buzz. Before the video, Joshua added a scene from the famous movie ‘300’. The scene involves the main character yelling “This is Sparta” and kicking another character, which later became a defining and iconic scene of the movie. In the next video, Joshua is then seen experimenting with kicks of his own with the song ‘Sparta’ by Genjutsu Beats.

In the video, Joshua is not wearing boxing gloves and is trying out an MMA or kickboxing combo. As such, Joshua throws a left jab and a left hook effortlessly. Subsequently, AJ gives fans a glimpse at something new by delivering a side kick and a front kick with his right leg. Joshua repeats this combo a few times while moving around a bit while his partner holds the pads.

In the next Instagram story, Anthony Joshua focused on his core strength with the help of a gym ball. He held himself up while moving the medicine ball that he was balancing on. These glimpses of his training demonstrated Joshua’s desire to experiment with diverse modes of warfare.

Seeing the former two-time heavyweight champion experiment with leg kicks was a strange sight to witness. While his left jab and hook were perfect, his kicks still need a lot of work. As such, Joshua appeared quite stiff while throwing the kicks compared to his fluid movement while punching. However, AJ was noticeably shifting his weight and maintaining his posture while delivering his attacks. Fans reacted to the clip by stating:
