The 39-year-old had an underwhelming tournament, where he failed to score, and many questioned his value to Roberto Martinez’s team. However, the former Real Madrid star looked in great shape and was clearly delighted to be back at Al-Nassr this week.

Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr side take on Al-Taawoun in the semi-finals of the Saudi Super Cup on August 14 before the new Saudi Pro League season begins eight days later against Al-Raed. They will hope to go one better than their second-place finish last term.
