After working hard in her career and relationships to create the life and businesses she wants, Rihanna is letting what will be, be.

Now the mom of two boys named RZA and Riot with boyfriend A$AP Rocky, the “Umbrella” singer says she will have “as many [kids] as God wants me to have.”

She continued, “I don’t know what God wants, but I would go for more than two. I would try for my girl. But of course if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.”

Rihanna reflected on growing her family in Interview magazine, also revealing how she and Rocky became so close, so quickly.

“We started dating with a lot of caution,” she revealed, explaining, “I just let whatever was supposed to happen, happen. It was just, ‘This is a flower. It’s either going to die or blossom. But I’m going to let it decide itself.’”

And then the universe had its own ideas. “COVID sped up our relationship, which I felt like God knew we needed because we were going to start a family. And had it not been for COVID, we would’ve taken a lot more time to get comfortable with each other, to even know that we were ready,” the singer said.

Clearly, Rih is happy with the way things unfolded. “[Becoming a family] was the best thing that ever happened to us. It just happened,” she said, explaining that her partnership works because of mutual trust rather than effort. “I let God lead and just let go. Because in previous relationships, I tried and tried and tried my best, and you still feel like it’s not enough. So when someone sees you completely, and believes in you, and thinks you’re worthy of being the mother of their kids, it’s a great feeling. I felt the same about him. I knew he would be a great dad.”

After working hard in her career and relationships to create the life and businesses she wants, Rihanna is now focused on letting things happen as they may. As a mother of two boys named RZA and Riot with boyfriend A$AP Rocky, the “Umbrella” singer is open to having as many children as God intends for her to have.

In a recent interview with Interview magazine, Rihanna shared her thoughts on expanding her family and the rapid growth of her relationship with Rocky. She expressed her willingness to have more than two children, hoping for a girl but accepting whatever comes their way.

Reflecting on their relationship, Rihanna revealed, “We started dating with a lot of caution. I just let whatever was supposed to happen, happen. It was just, ‘This is a flower. It’s either going to die or blossom. But I’m going to let it decide itself.’”

Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Rihanna sees a silver lining in how it brought them closer together. “COVID sped up our relationship, which I felt like God knew we needed because we were going to start a family,” she shared. “And had it not been for COVID, we would’ve taken a lot more time to get comfortable with each other, to even know that we were ready.”

Rihanna emphasized the importance of letting go and allowing the universe to guide their path. She believes that mutual trust and belief in each other’s worthiness are key factors in their successful partnership. “I felt the same about him. I knew he would be a great dad,” she said.
