Travis Kelce is wearing his heart on his sleeve!

Ever since the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and Taylor Swift first made their romance public in October 2023, Kelce has not shied away from sharing his feelings for his superstar girlfriend.

From revealing why the “sentimental” song “So High School” is one of his favorites, to opening up about how he’s “learning every day” by spending time with her, here are some of the most romantic things Kelce has said about Swift.

Since the pair confirmed their romance in October 2023, they’ve given fans tiny peeks into their relationship, with Kelce most recently opening up about when he knew he was starting to “fall” for Swift on an episode of Barstool Sports’ Bussin’ with the Boys podcast released on June 25 (recorded on June 19).

When chatting about how Swift “understands situations” like the Chiefs winning the 2024 Super Bowl, Kelce said, “She’s very self-aware. And I think that’s why I really started to really fall for her, was how genuine she is around friends [and] family. It can get crazy for somebody with that much attention … and she just keeps it so chill and so cool.”

Elsewhere on the Bussin’ with the Boys podcast, Kelce was asked to rank his top three favorite Swift songs. For his top two picks he went with “Blank Space” and “Cruel Summer” before rounding out the list with “So High School,” which he explained “has a sentimental meaning, I guess.”

After the hosts made the suggestion that Kelce appears in the song, he said, “I think so, I think so, you know what I’m saying,” before reciting the lyrics, “You know to ball, I know Aristotle” with a smile.

Kelce previously told PEOPLE that the song is his favorite off of Swift’s new album, The Tortured Poets Department, while admitting he “might be a little biased” as the song is speculated to be about him.

Ahead of the 2024 Super Bowl, where Kelce and the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers, the tight end appeared on the Westwood One podcast where host Laura Okmin told him that “love looks good on you,”

He accepted the compliment saying, “thank you, I appreciate that,” before going on to say that he’s “very aware” of the impact his relationship has had on attracting a new audience to the NFL. He said that while he wanted to assure everyone that his focus was still on playing the best he could, the attention didn’t bother him because “what me and Taylor have is special.”

Travis Kelce on Making Memories to ‘Cherish’ with Taylor Swift

After the Chiefs won the AFC Championship Game, Swift joined her boyfriend on the field to celebrate. Kelce was seen kissing and hugging Swift and saying, “I love you.”

While speaking at a press conference after the special moment, Kelce said the celebrations were “another memory in the journey that we get to cherish, man.”

Despite her busy schedule, Swift was spotted at numerous games cheering on Kelce and the Chiefs last season.

Of her support, Kelce said on The Pat McAfee Show in late January 2024, “I love it when Taylor comes and supports me and enjoys the game with the fam and friends. It’s been nothing but a wonderful year, man.”

Elsewhere in the conversation, Kelce explained, “we’re just two people supporting each other and having fun with it, man.”

Kelce sat down with WSJ. Magazine for the cover of their December/January issue and opened up about dating someone “with that kind of aura about them,” he said.

“I’ve never dealt with it,” he added. “But at the same time, I’m not running away from any of it … The scrutiny she gets, how much she has a magnifying glass on her, every single day, paparazzi outside her house, outside every restaurant she goes to, after every flight she gets off, and she’s just living, enjoying life. When she acts like that I better not be the one acting all strange.”

He added that getting to know Swift has been eye-opening, sharing, “I’ve never been a man of words. Being around her, seeing how smart Taylor is, has been f—— mind-blowing. I’m learning every day.”

Travis Kelce on Feeling ‘Protective’ of Taylor Swift

Earlier on in their relationship, Kelce and his brother Jason chatted a bit about the new couple’s various outings on an episode of New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, specifically about the chatter surrounding the photos and videos of the sports star helping Swift in and out of her car and holding her hand.

“I feel like whenever I’m on a date I’m always having the sense of like, I’m a man in the situation, I’m like protective, yeah for sure,” Kelce said. “You always kind of have that feeling — or that self-awareness, I guess.”
