‘This flavor is not it. This lemon pepper flavor with honey or this sweet taste on it, it’s just not good. It tastes like a f***ing Sprite soda,’ the 31-year-old Grammy winner – who boasts 247M social media followers – lamented via Instastory.

‘I don’t f***ing like it. From one through 10, I’ll give it a two. I like the other one. I like the the sweet heat [sweet ‘n spicy]. I was trying to [choose something] different. I was trying to do the lemon pepper. I did not think it would come with a sweet kick to it. I don’t f***ing like it. It’s a dud. Now I’m mad.’

Cardi (born Belcalis Almánzar) is from the Bronx, and she went on to praise her home state.

‘Which state is better than New York? Because we are literally eating Popeyes though at 4:30 in the morning,’ the On Dat Money rapper noted.

Meanwhile, a rep for the 52-year-old fast-food chain told TMZ on Wednesday that they plan on sending Cardi a special care package so she can taste test their other four flavors – ghost pepper, honey BBQ, roasted garlic parmesan, and signature hot.

‘If you can’t take the heat, then get out of the kitchen. And we are in the kitchen. A lot,’ Popeyes PR told the outlet.

‘We welcome all Wing rankings and reviews as we believe variety is the spice of life and that’s why we have six flavors for wing enthusiasts like Cardi to enjoy.’

It’s been three years since Starco Brands enlisted Cardi to be their partner/creative director of the 10% vodka-infused, vegan whipped cream (available in caramel, mocha, vanilla, and lime) – which have reportedly sold over 5M cans.

However, the half-Dominican, half-Trinidadian star – who gets 31.5M monthly listeners on Spotify – has yet to release the follow-up to her 2018 debut studio album Invasion of Privacy.
