One now deleted message read: “There’s no album.” In another, Cardi moaned: “I don’t want to do music.”

After fans rounded on her demanding answers, Cardi said she had been struggling with her mood and said she felt under pressure to perform.

Speaking directly to them on an Instagram Live, Cardi said: “I was just feeling very overwhelmed, I was very f***ing tired.

“A lot of things don’t really bother me but then I get one thing and I just burst. When I have one of my bad moments I will literally curse out everybody.”

Hopefully her next single is better received.

Call James

HE proved himself to be the wittiest – and most acerbic – man in music thanks to his withering posts on Twitter and now X.

So who better to dish out some no-nonsense advice than Goodbye My Lover hitmaker James Blunt?

Vick’s Cabaret capers

VICK Hope led the celebrity guest arrivals at the gala night of Cabaret in London’s West End as singer Self Esteem and Scissor Sisters’ Jake Shears took to the stage.

Self Esteem, aka Rebecca Lucy Taylor, and Jake delivered jaw-dropping performances as Sally Bowles and The Emcee in the twisted reinvention of the hit musical.

When the show opened to critical acclaim in 2021, Jessie Buckley and Eddie Redmayne had the roles but the pop star replacements more than fit the bill.

Self Esteem’s haunting renditions of the title track and Maybe This Time surely putting her in line for an Olivier Award nomination.

The production is one of the most immersive in the capital.

Punters are drawn through a maze of actors as they enter the Playhouse Theatre then sit around a circular central stage, bringing them closer to the characters.

The show is a gritty and ghoulish telling of the story in 1930s Berlin, and the best musical in London’s Theatreland.

Swell Ella ‘N’ Flash Ash

ELLA Eyre and Ashley Roberts were among the stars who turned out to watch Fatboy Slim in the world’s largest ever holographic performance.

The DJ – famed for his hedonistic antics in the Nineties – got higher than he’s ever been as EE projected a 50-metre hologram of his DJ set over London’s Alexandra Palace.

Came Here For Love hitmaker Ella wore a skirt over a brown all-in one suit to the Thursday night bash, while Pussycat Dolls singer Ash looked set to jet off into orbit in space-age, silver trousers.

Other celebs including Max George and Maisie Smith swilled champagne as Fatboy blasted out some of his biggest tunes including Right Here, Right Now.

It was a pretty impressive sight, but I bet there are a few people moaning about their necks aching this morning.
