The rapper revealed what she carries around in her purse — and we have to say, she comes prepared

Cardi B’s got some baggage — and we mean the good kind.

On July 9, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper, 31, was photographed enjoying a family trip to Disneyland Paris with Offset. And once the photos hit social media, fans and fashion savants couldn’t wrap their heads around the large Chanel bag she threw on for a day at the theme park.

Cardi B teamed a flowy halterneck floral-print dress and black flats with the oversize silver quilted chain link purse that took up half of her frame. Some considered the bag so big that they even felt that the “ludicrously capacious” meme from Succession applied to the look.

Big in size, the designer accessory also has a hefty price tag, and as Vogue pointed out, the design worn by Cardi B can resell for over $12,000.

She’s definitely getting good use out of the bag, though, and in photos shared by the artist on X (formerly known as Twitter) July 10, she can be seen toting it over her shoulder while posing on the steps of a plane. She rocks an all-pink look consisting of a pink Balenciaga shirt dress and heeled knee-high boots.

The latter post prompted one fan to ask, “What’s in this big ass purse sister?” which caught Cardi B’s attention. She responded by sharing a photo of the contents inside.

“The typical really ….nun special,” she wrote.

It turns out the Grammy winner is just like us, in that she carries only the essentials and lets a pretty bag do all the talking.

Among the many relatable products Cardi B uses are a few drugstore beauty gems, such as a $13 Native deodorant in the Trefoils scent (from the brand’s Girl Scout collaboration), a bar of Dove soap, which usually retails for just a couple bucks (so, a steal) and the $7 Arm & Hammer Simply Saline Nasal Mist.

X users were quick to respond to Cardi B’s everyday essentials. One wrote, “Got a whole target up in there.” Another commented, “This is how you know a mother. The bag” (Cardi B shares daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, 6, and son Wave Set Cephus, 2 with Offset, 32).

Cardi B’s fashionable appearance in France comes nearly two weeks after her appearance at the Marc Jacobs fall 2024 fashion show in New York City on July 1.

She wowed the front row in an explosion of fabric as she was decked out in a custom lilac, purple and yellow feathered songbird dress from Marc Jacobs’ spring 2020 ready-to-wear collection. She accessorized the look with yellow knit tights, the designer’s iconic white Kiki boots and yellow-frame sunglasses. And her glam was just as dramatic, consisting of a retro beehive updo and long pastel purple nails.
