Taylor replied, ecstatically: “I have ceased to be a person any more. I have exploded into a cloud of confetti hearts.”

CARDI B was an up-and-coming rapper in 2016 when she expressed her admiration for Gaga in a tweet. “When I was a teenager Lady Gaga changed my life,” she wrote. “She inspired me to be myself and be different.”

By April 2018, Cardi was a record-breaking artist and had caught the eye of Gaga, 36, who responded to her two-year-old tweet with, “Love you girl”.
