According to Closer, an insider claimed: “Harry is very anxious to go home and see his dad, catch up with his friends for his birthday in September and also pay a visit to his aunt, Princess Anne. But that situation hasn’t changed for Meghan.
“She’s respectful that Harry has to go back to his home for practical and emotional reasons, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to go with him.”
Meghan is currently having a busy year, and is set to soon launch her lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard.
So far she has teased the brand by sending 50 jams to friends and influencers, including Kris Jenner.
Meghan has also reportedly wrapped up filming her next Netflix show, which is a cooking programme.
The insider claimed: “She’s got way too much on her plate with the brand and her new cooking show, as well as looking after the kids.
“The last thing she needs is the stress of going back to the UK, where she fears she’d be heckled again in public, which she finds incredibly painful”.
Previously, when Meghan and Harry arrived at St Paul’s in 2022 for the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, they exited the car to an overwhelming sound of booing.
WILLS’ ECO WAR
The Duchess of Sussex’s popularity has taken a significant hit with a new poll unveiling she’s not that popular among Brits.
The Ipsos poll, marking the first anniversary of King Charles’ Coronation, showed a whopping 75 per cent of Brits are not fans of Meghan.
Meghan & Harry will NEVER be forgiven by Kate & Wills – they’ve caused an awful lot of pain, says royal expert
Prince Harry has also been hit by the results, languishing near the bottom of the popularity table with only 31 per cent approval rating.
But the poll also shows that couple seems to resonate more with younger generations – with Meghan boasting 42 per cent among 18 to 34 years-olds.
The Duke of Sussex, 39, visited the UK in May for an Invictus Games event, leaving Meghan at home in California.
Harry spent three nights in London on a whistle-stop tour but didn’t see his cancer-stricken dad King Charles or brother Prince William.
Prince Harry claimed the King was “too busy” to meet.
A spokesman said: “It unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full programme.
“The Duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.”
It is, however, expected that Meghan is likely to join him when he visits the UK in 2027 for the Invictus Games being held In Birmingham.
Meghan has joined Harry at every Invictus Games while they have been together after first appearing at the 2017 Toronto games.
