Dutch Motorsport racer, Giedo Van der Garde has bashed Red Bull’s Sergio Perez for his poor performances this campaign. The latter has been an inconsistent performer for the Milton-Keynes outfit since the start of 2023.
Sergio Perez has been a subject of constant scrutiny around the grid ever since he signed a contract extension earlier this season. The deal keeps Perez with Red Bull until the end of 2026, putting an end to the hopes of their encouraging junior driver, Liam Lawson.
Giedo van Der Garde has since pitted Liam Lawson as a worthy contendor for the seat at the Milton-Keynes outfit, subsequent to the 34-year-old. Van der Garde has claimed that Perez has been unable to prove his worth since signing the contract extension earlier this season.

Liam Lawson filled in for five races for an injured Daniel Ricciardo last season. The New Zealander managed to score points in only his third race, which compelled many to bat an eye in favor of the 22-year-old.
Helmut Marko has since always been an avid supporter of Lawson, claiming that he is competent enough to be on the grid in 2025. The RB reserve driver will now sit tight in hopes of a chance to race at the pinnacle of motorsport next year.
