The media war between Mike Tyson and YouTuber Jake Paul may have come to an end as the heavyweight boxing legend himself confirmed on his podcast:

“I will step up just to break the record. Jake Paul doesn’t think he can generate as much profit as the champions, but this guy can attract about 80 million viewers.”

Currently, the record for the most PPV (paid viewers) of all time belongs to the classic fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao in 2015. This fight attracted 4.6 million views at the time.

From YouTuber to boxing ring, 28-year-old Jake Paul’s career has reached the glory that many professional boxers dream of. Passionate about boxing but not pursuing a career in martial arts, Jake Paul and his brother Logan Paul have built their brand through clips posted on Youtube.
Hundreds, thousands, and then tens of millions of YouTube followers have helped both brothers become the most famous clip producers in the world. Having become so successful as YouTubers, the two brothers moved into boxing with fights that earned them a lot of money.

Paul recently knocked out former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley. He also defeated fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib, basketball player Nate Robinson and another MMA star, Ben Askren.
