Jake Paul takes on Mike Perry on July 20th.

The YouTuber turned boxer has racked up a record of 9-1 with 6 KOs in the ring.

But the opposition has mostly been aging MMA greats like Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley, and Nate Diaz.

The one time he came up against any boxer of sorts was against Tommy Fury when he suffered his first defeat via split-decision.

One thing ‘The Problem Child’ doesn’t lack is self belief though and he has once again claimed he is aiming for world title honours.

“I believe in 2025 I will most likely be a world champion”, he said when speaking to ESPN.

“I think I’m ready for it in the next couple of months here and I’m most likely going to go for it in 2025.

“It’s really just my God-given ability and willpower to do this.

“People haven’t really seen me fight in the past year because of two first-round knockouts.

“If Mike Perry can make it out of the first or second round, maybe people will see a little more of me, but I don’t believe that anybody can hang with me at 200 pounds.”

Will Jake Paul put Mike Perry on the canvas?👀

Following his fight against Perry, Paul then takes on the legendary Mike Tyson on November 15 but that is not a bout that will get him a ranking of any sorts.

So if he genuinely thinks he is going to be a world champion in the sport then he will have to switch from the influencer boxing scene and take on more credible opponents.
