Kim Kardashian is set to add ‘leading lady’ to her CV, after landing her very first starring role.

The 43-year-old recently wowed viewers with her acting efforts in American Horror Story: Delicate, opposite Emma Roberts.

She has also popped up in Paw Patrol: The Movie and the sequel alongside her children, North and Saint West, while getting a Razzie for worst supporting actress in 2013 film Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor.

According to reports, she is attached to star in upcoming comedy The 5th Wheel, and will also be serving as producer.

Deadline reports that she has been very involved in the pitch for the comedy, with five studios thought to be battling for the rights.

Although details on the plot are thin on the ground, the outlet states that the flick will be written by SNL’s Paula Pell and her wife, Janine Brito.

Kim raised eyebrows when she announced that she would be appearing in the most recent series of AHS, taking on the role of powerful publicist Siobhan.

The mom-of-four is already juggling her family life with several businesses – including Skims and her Skkn by Kim line – as well as her budding law career, working tirelessly on criminal justice reform and keeping fans entertained on her family’s reality show, the Kardashians.

She took fans behind the scenes on her efforts to prepare for the part on the latest episode of the Hulu series, including late night acting lessons and costume fittings.

In a confessional, the businesswoman confessed that she turned to Salma Hayek for advice before stepping foot in front of the camera.

Kim recalled: ‘I said to her, like, “Oh my god. What did I get myself into? I feel bad.” And she’s like, “Do not feel bad. Maybe this whole road has led you here because you are supposed to be an actress and this is your real career.”

‘And I’m like, “You are right, Salma Hayek.” And then I was like, “Can we play sisters in something? Because you are my idol.”’
