Amir Khan has opened up on his private chat with Anthony Joshua as the British heavyweight prepares to take on Daniel Dubois at Wembley tonight.
Joshua will look to become a three-time world champion when he faces off against Dubois for his IBF belt in front of a capacity crowd of 96,000.
Despite entering the bout as the slight favourite, and off the back of an impressive run of four straight victories, AJ has been warned to expect a brutal slugfest.
The 34-year-old tipped the scales at 252lbs 5oz during yesterday’s weigh-in at Trafalgar Square while Dubois, 27, clocked a career-heavy 17st 10lb.
Khan caught up with Joshua after the event and has spilled on their conversation.

Amir Khan shared a quick chat with Joshua after yesterday’s weigh-in at Trafalgar Square
‘He was just saying hello,’ Khan told Pro Boxing Fans. ‘We obviously had a quick chit chat. He said, “Thanks for coming. How you been? See you tomorrow.” That’s it.
‘Keeping it simple and real. I just gave him my best wishes and said good luck.’
Dubois cut a confident figure after his final face-off with Joshua and Khan believes he could shock Joshua if he drops his concentration, if only for a split second.
He added: ‘Dubois is a sleeping giant. You can’t sleep on that guy. He’s very dangerous. If AJ takes his eye off the game, he can get hurt.
‘Dubois, we’ve seen, he’s got a lot of power. He’s strong. This fight is not easy for Joshua. I think it will be a tough one but as long as he stays focused, he’s got the skills, the ability, the power. If he sticks to his plan, he’ll win the fight.’
Speaking to the press after the uneventful weigh-in, Dubois said he is targeting a win by ‘any means necessary’.
‘I am ready for the fight,’ he said. ‘Time to get in the ring and fight now. We have been working hard and I am ready to fight.
‘A lot has gone in to this, a lot of work and training and the talk is done.’

Joshua said he was ‘still on the battlefield’, quashing suggestions his career is nearing the end
Joshua, meanwhile, insisted he was ‘still on the battlefield’, quashing any suggestions he is nearing the end of his career in the ring.
‘I look at myself as a gladiator and I’m going to step into the arena tomorrow to perform for the people,’ Joshua said.
‘I started late in boxing but it shows you can achieve anything. I’m not a warrior in the garden yet, I’m still on the battlefield.’
