DOJA Cat fans can’t wait to see her at this year’s Wireless festival – but they insist she should be a headliner.
The 26-year-old American rapper is a major music star with two Top 10 albums and a whole host of prestigious awards.

But she’s playing second fiddle to J. Cole on the Saturday of the Crystal Palace leg of the event.
One fan wrote on Twitter: “I’mma need Wireless to put some respect on Doja Cat’s name. Have they not been seeing the FIRE performances she’s been doing? Homegirl doesn’t play. THAT is what you call a headline act.”
Another said: “Doja cat needs to headline wireless.”
A third questioned SZA getting a headline slot before Doja, with the 32-year-old topping the bill in Finsbury Park.
Rap rivals Cardi B and Nicki Minaj will go head to head at the UK festival too.
They’ve been at each others throats since 2017, after Nicki dissed Cardi’s boyfriend Offset in the track Swish Swish.
Cardi, 29, and Nicki, 39, then came to physical blows at a New York Fashion week party after Cardi confronted Nicki for ‘spreading lies’ before launching a shoe at her.
Now they’ll take to the same stage but on different nights at the event, billed as Europe’s biggest celebration of contemporary black music.
General sale for tickets to the festival kicked off today (February 28) through Ticketmaster. Prices start from £85.
Performances will take place at two London venues, in Crystal Palace and Finsbury Park, and at the Birmingham NEC, and run across two weekends from Friday July 1 to Sunday July 11.
ASAP Rocky also leads the headliners for the first weekend at Crystal Palace, in south London, with his first show on British soil in six years.
The rapper, who recently announced he and Rihanna were expecting their first child, is followed by J Cole on the Saturday and Tyler, The Creator on the Sunday.
The following weekend all eyes will be on Finsbury Park where an historic all female line up of Cardi B, SZA and Nicki Minaj will take to the stage.
The event will be SZA’s first European festival headline slot and her first UK performance in four years.
That same weekend Dave, who recently won best hip hop/grime/rap act the 2022 Brit awards, will headline in Birmingham, followed by Cardi B on Saturday and J Cole on Sunday.
The 23 year-old, who already has a host of major UK musical accolades under his belt, was forced to reschedule several shows following damage and delays caused by Storm Eunice.
For the first time the festival will partner with BBC Radio 1Xtra, who will broadcast live on site and conduct exclusive backstage interviews.
