On the eve of the album’s release, Eminem took to social media, stating: “Public service announcement: ‘The Death of Slim Shady’ is a concept album. Listening to the songs out of order may cause them to lose their meaning. Enjoy.”

Keeping this in mind, tracks eight and nine have sparked particular interest for their seemingly pointed remarks towards Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs.

The eighth track, titled ‘Antichrist,’ explicitly mentions Diddy. Eminem’s lyrics delve deep, with lines like: “The next fool to ask me is worse beaten than Diddy. (Yes he did).” The phrase “P, did he” is a clear jab at P Diddy, highlighting the apparent hostility between the two artists.
