In addition to this, Steiner reckoned that Lewis Hamilton was already a legend without a doubt. However, taking Ferrari to the world championship would be the goal for the 39-year-old. The Italian-American added that this was Hamilton’s dream and reason to enter the Italian constructor. As a result, winning the championship as a Ferrari driver would enable the Briton to be ‘remembered forever’.

I mean, he's already a legend without a doubt, but if he takes Ferrari to a world championship, and I think that is his dream and reason to go there, he will be remembered forever.

Regardless, Hamilton wasn’t lacking in confidence after performing at the pinnacle of his career in the past.

So obviously, he will be thinking ‘what if' but he's not lacking confidence. After seven times being a world champion, I think he is in a good space.
