In a recent Instagram post, the 29-year-old singer shared a video of himself smiling from both sides of his face, indicating that his recovery is progressing well.

Bieber first spoke publicly about his diagnosis in June 2022, when he revealed that he was experiencing “full paralysis” on one side of his face. He also shared that he was doing facial exercises to regain movement, but that it would take time to recover. In a subsequent Instagram story, he opened up about finding comfort in his faith during the difficult period, writing, “JESUS IS WITH ME.”

Earlier this month, Bieber announced that he would be cancelling the remaining dates of his Justice World Tour due to his condition. The cancelled shows were set to take place in several countries including the UK, France, Poland, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, and the Czech Republic.Ramsay Hunt Syndrome is a rare disorder that affects the facial nerve and is characterised by a rash around the ear, face, or mouth. Symptoms can include facial paralysis, ear pain, hearing loss, and difficulty with speech and swallowing. Its treatment involves supportive care and antiviral medication.
