Oliver Bearman finally signed a contract with Haas F1 after his impressive performance as a stand in at the Saudi Arabian GP. The young Briton had the chance to drive Carlos Sainz’s car when Sainz had to undergo surgery. Bearman made an exceptional debut with Ferrari, finishing in seventh place and drawing all the spotlight. Although Bearman won’t be a full-time Ferrari driver in 2025, he recognizes the impact of Lewis Hamilton‘s arrival to the Scuderia.

Oliver Bearman stated that Lewis Hamilton would be a great addition to the team because of his vast experience in F1. He mentioned Hamilton had won seven world titles, which only a few people can achieve. The 19-year-old believes the world champion will contribute a positive and winning attitude to the team. Bearman reckoned, this presence of the 39-year-old would bring a significant impact on Ferrari’s performance in 2025.

I think he'll bring a lot of experience to the team. He's won seven titles, which is something not many people can say. He'll bring a good mentality to the team, a winning mentality and it's obvious that his talent is undeniable.

He believes it’s a valuable opportunity to learn and race against someone who has accomplished such achievements. The 19-year-old reckoned Hamilton’s insights and knowledge will be extremely helpful for his own growth and development as an aspiring driver.
