The Princess of Wales has achieved a significant milestone in her meaningful work by launching a new venture, despite stepping back from royal engagements following her cancer diagnosis.

Kate has been diligently working behind the scenes with her early years initiative to enhance the lives of infants through The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.

Recently, she announced the Baby Bank Alliance, ensuring that babies and children receive essential supplies.

Kate shared the exciting news of the ‘baby banks’ established nationwide via an Instagram post on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ official account.

“The @babybankalliance is a community of over 300 baby banks supporting families, babies, and children in the UK with access to the supplies and clothing they need to thrive,” Middleton’s post read.

Are there any updates on Kate’s health?

Earlier this year, following her abdominal surgery, it was revealed that the mother-of-three had been working from home.

This included overseeing a new report from the Centre, which funded a trial of a baby observation tool designed to help health visitors spot signs of social and emotional development in young children.

Kensington Palace confirmed that Princess Kate had been kept updated on her campaign and the “overwhelmingly positive” results of the study she inspired. A spokesman for Kensington Palace stated, “The Princess has been kept updated throughout the process.”

Kate has consistently emphasized the importance of the first five years of life and her hopes for prioritizing children’s social and emotional development. The Centre for Early Childhood, established in 2021, is part of The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales.

Return to public life and future plans

Kate returned to public life in June, attending King Charles’ official birthday celebrations, Trooping the Color.

She also delighted royal fans by attending Wimbledon this month with her sister Pippa. However, before attending the Trooping celebrations, she revealed in a statement that she is making “good progress” but is “not out of the woods yet.”

In a recent statement, Kate mentioned she has “good days and bad days” and hopes to join a few public engagements over the summer as she continues her cancer treatment “for a few more months.”
