Conor McGregor believes Tyson Fury will be more focused in the rematch.

The British heavyweight was beaten by Usyk in May via a split-decision verdict from the judges at ringside.

But, he gets an immediate chance at revenge when he battles it out with the Ukrainian on December 21st in Saudi Arabia.

Looking ahead to the clash UFC superstar, Conor McGregor, gave his assessment on the rematch.

“We’ve always got to win our fights scheduled,” McGregor told talkSPORT’s Jim White when asked if Fury needed to win the rematch.

“You certainly don’t want to be on the receiving end especially from a guy like Oleksandr Usyk.

“But that was a close fight also, and I thought Fury had his moments.

“Fury is another guy who can make great adjustments and if you look at his trilogy with Deontay Wilder, he got better as it went on.

“I’m expecting a much more dialled in and more tactical Tyson Fury, and the size difference is substantial.

“But Usyk is a very crafty boxer and that is a hell of a fight. UK heavyweight boxing is in a great place.”
