THIS is the moment Prince William is seen zooming inside Windsor Castle on an electric scooter after he finding a quick way to zip around the royal estate.

The Prince of Wales, 42, was spotted whizzing around on the speedy scooter on Thursday before deftly passing through a castle gate.

The future king wore a white shirt under a blue jumper which was matched with black trousers which was teamed with a pair of shades.

E-scooter sales have soared in recent years.

They are illegal to ride on public roads – unless part of an approved hire scheme – but they can be used on private land, as Wills does.

The Sun broke the news William had bought himself an electric scooter in July 2023.

A source said at the time: “It just makes sense. He whizzes up to the castle when he needs to see the King.”

The source added: “It’s a two or three-mile round trip from his family home at Adelaide Cottage to Windsor Castle so it’s easier by scooter than car or walking.”

The 655-acre estate also includes a golf course, Frogmore House and the Sussexes’s former home, Frogmore Cottage.

The scooter’s make and model are not known.

They can cost up to £6,000.

The future king has spoken of his passion for motorbikes and rode one in London on the eve of his 2011 wedding.

In 2008 he and brother Harry did a charity motorcycle rally across South Africa.

But Wills has since put the hobby on the back burner.

At the 2018 Isle of Man TT races he said: “I’m a dad of three. I have to tone it down. I miss the big trips, for me biking was always about being with everybody else.”

Wills riding his e-scooter comes after the dad was seen at Wembley Stadium to mark his 42nd birthday with children Prince George, 10, and Princess Charlotte, nine, as they watched Taylor Swift perform.

William previously shared the stage with Swift at Kensington Palace in 2013 to perform Livin’ On A Prayer by Bon Jovi for a charity event.

The future king was seen pulling his best dance moves at the gig as he got into the music.

Fellow royals Zara and Mike Tindall were also spotted at the gig.

We last saw Kate, 42, at Trooping the Colour on June 15, where she rode in a carriage with her kids and appeared on the Buckingham Palace balcony with the royal family.

Both King Charles and Princess Kate are undergoing treatment for cancer, and heartwarming images showed them standing shoulder-to-shoulder in front of the crowds.

In a personally written statement released on June 14, Princess Kate said she was making “good progress’, explaining that there are “good days and bad days”.

She wrote her treatment will be “ongoing and will be for a few more months” and that she is “not out of the woods yet”.

Kate added: “I am learning how to be patient, especially with uncertainty. Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take this much needed time to heal.”

She also thanked the public, saying: “Thank you so much for your continued understanding, and to all of you who have so bravely shared your stories with me.”
