FANS of The Bachelorette have called out producers for their group date idea during a recent episode of the reality show.

During week three of The Bachelorette, Jenn, 26, continued to find romantic connections with her remaining contestants.

On Monday night, Jenn took a few men on a group date where they were encouraged to perform a Magic Mike-like routine.

The men were asked to dress up and put on a show in front of a live audience, Jenn, and host Jesse Palmer.

Before it all went down, the men on the date showed off their sexy moves in front of professional male dancers – and were asked to take off their shirts.

While many men were happy to do so, others seemed uncomfortable.

After one of the male dancers told the guys that they would be dancing in front of others, they weren’t prepared for what was to come.

Jenn reminded her dates, “Listen guys, I’m not looking the best strip tease, I’m not looking for the best abs.

“I think what today is really all about is showing your personality and really stepping outside of your comfort zone.”

NOT BACKING DOWN

When Jenn said the word “abs” the camera cut to a full-body frame of contestant Devin Strader.

While speaking with his rivals backstage, Devin briefly spoke about his insecurities.

“I was a fat kid growing up,” he said.

“I’m going out there there’s hundreds of people, I don’t have abs, I don’t have big biceps, like, I have a hairy chest.”

In a confessional, Devin said, “I don’t have the body for this.”

However, he had his mind on Jenn, “I’m doing what I need to do for Jenn so I’m not gonna walk away from a challenge.”

Despite Devin’s worries, the contestant gave his best during his performance and shocked both Jenn and the other men while dressing up as a “Dirty detective.”

The Bachelor contestant, Jenn Tran, was recently announced as the next Bachelorette. Below are the men who are vying for her heart.

On social media, many fans slammed the producers for the date idea as well as the “diabolical” move from the show editors.

“They did NOT zoom in on devin’s body when jenn said she wasn’t looking for the best abs. That was DIABOLICAL,” one wrote on X.

A second replied, “The producers are so messy.”

A third tweeted, “They didn’t slip that in there omg producers just out here bodyshaming.”

“All jokes aside the male stripper group date is absolutely absurd,” a fourth viewer noted.

A fifth stated, “Please remove the typical men’s stripper segments. We are not interested.”

“Calling it now Devin is going to be one of the it guys in paradise. He’s funny, good looking and is getting the lovable villain edit,” someone else pointed out.

HIS SIDE OF THE STORY

In a confessional, Devin shared his true feelings about the challenge and his performance.

“Today was fun but to be honest, I would’ve rather done 10 million other things than dance around in a thong.

“I have this image of myself that is strong and can take any punch, it wasn’t like that for me in that moment.”

While having a one-on-one talk with Jenn, Devin wanted to talk with her about how he truly felt about the competition.

“For me, getting into this dancing mode was a really big deal for me.

“Growing up, I was a pretty heavy kid and I had a lot of insecurities about my weight, how I looked, and who I was where I didn’t want to look at myself in the mirror.

He revealed to the TV personality that he worked hard to get where he is today but he still can be insecure at times.

Devin went on to thank Jenn for giving him the confidence he needed to go through with the performance.

“I really don’t know how I could have done it if it wasn’t you,” he said.

In her own confessional, Jenn was pleased with Devin opening up to her.

By the end of the night, Devin won over Jenn and received the date rose.
