On the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kim chatted with her mom Kris Jenner about the harrowing incident, explaining that she’s not sure if her sisters would have survived had the same thing happened to them.
During the hotel room robbery, Kim was bound in plastic cuffs and robbed at gunpoint by masked men who stole millions of dollars worth of jewelry.

“Do you remember when you were robbed in Paris? And you were tied up and thrown into a bathtub and the trauma of that?” Kris asked during the episode.

She continued, “I remember you said, ‘Thank god it happened to me because if it had happened to anyone else, they wouldn’t have been able to survive and it wouldn’t had happened the same way,’ but you handled every situation.”

Kim agreed, adding, “When it was done, I was just like, thank God it was me and not one of my sisters because it would fuck them up for life.”

Kris went on to say that she didn’t know anyone who could have “handled what you did” and was “so proud” of the way Kim lives her life.
But while noting that she wishes everyone could know how “beautiful” Kim’s heart is, Kris admitted that she feels some guilt for helping to make her children famous — and inadvertently putting them in tough situations.

“You live in this guilt, saying, ‘I wish I didn’t help my kids get famous.’ You can’t live like that,” Kim said. “This is also our journeys, and we wanted this, and you just helped us fulfill our dreams and what our potential is.”

She continued, “Life is about hardships and how you get through them, and we know how to get through them. It’s the one thing we do.”

Kim added that the family is able to get through things because they “get through it together.”
