Cardi B has revealed she split from her rapper husband Offset.

The Bartier Cardi went live on Instagram to announce her new relationship status. She set the record straight after wondering if her fans had been “getting clue” about Offset’s absence across her social media.

She then confessed: “I’ve been single for a minute now, but I have been afraid to like—not afraid I just don’t know how to tell the world. But I feel like today has been a sign.

“The last time I got on Live I kind of wanted to tell you guys, but I didn’t know how to tell you, so I changed my mind. But it has been like this for a minute now. I just took it as a sign,” she said in the clip shared by PopCrave online.

Cardi revealed that her breakup has left her feeling excited for a fresh start, adding: “I wanna start 2024, like, fresh, open. I don’t know. I’m curious for a new life, for a new beginning. And yeah, I’m excited.”

The confirmation comes days after fans spotted a cryptic message on Cardi’s Instagram stories after the pair unfollowed each other on social media. She wrote: “You know when you just out grow relationships. I’m tired of protecting peoples feelings…I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST!”

Cardi – who’s real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar Cephus – shares daughter Kulture, five and a son, Wave, two, with Offset – who’s real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus.

The pair secretly tied the knot in 2017 before welcoming Kulture. They then split in 2018 before reuniting and having Wave in 2021. Cardi revealed that the pair had had some challenges but were going strong at the time.

She told E! News: “Of course we went through some challenges. We had to get to know each other better. But I feel like I’ve never been happier.

“I really feel like [it’s] not even just like marriage, it’s the family, the unity, the friendship that we have, the ‘I have your back, you have my back,'” she added.

Recently, Offset took to Twitter to deny allegations made by fellow rapper Blueface, that he had slept with Chrisean Rock. Blueface slammed his former partner in a Tweet, writing: “Being tatted on a h** is not a flex you literally f***** cardi B husband couple weeks ago I’m tired of n***** looking at me while they f****** you get the rest of em gone asap please.”

He added: “Tried to keep yo secret but you keep popping it on these apps ima only state facts everytime … So you ain’t f*** cardi husband November 10th at 4am at their house in LA …I’m making this up ? … Post that time an date on they a** now everybody quiet.”

In response, Offset said: “I ain’t never talk or touch that lady. Real talk man you need some help!”
