“It has to go down.”

Jake Paul gives Logan Paul 'blessing' to fight controversial TikTok star Andrew Tate

Jake Paul has given older brother Logan ‘his blessing’ to face controversial kickboxer and TikTok star Andrew Tate in a lucrative boxing match.

‘The Problem Child’ is currently 5-0 and was meant to face Hasim Rahman Jr. at Madison Square Garden this past weekend, but the contest was called off.

It means he’s yet to fight in 2022 and a potential opponent is Tate, who has previously called out the YouTuber.

Paul appeared on Logan’s ‘IMPAULSIVE’ podcast on Tuesday and discussed a showdown with the ‘Top G’, admitting he’s not a fan.

Logan then asked: “Jake, I know he’s been talking s**t about you bro. With your blessing, can I beat the s**t out of Andrew f**king Tate?”

Jake said Logan should fight him and declared: “If my brother doesn’t f**k you up, I will. It has to go down.”

Tate offered Jake $3 million for a sanctioned fight back in 2021 after claiming he needed a ‘reality check’.

During that time, Paul was on a mission to get under the skin of UFC megastar Conor McGregor and mocked him for his defeat to Dustin Poirier at UFC 257.

Paul doesn’t think Tate will take a fight with either brother as losing could seriously damage his standing in the online community.

“I don’t think he gets in the ring with one of us,” he admitted. “It’s too big of a risk for him. He’s ‘alpha male,’ right? That’s his whole entire thing. And when he loses — he will lose to either one of us he fights — his whole schtick and all the women will be like, ‘Yeah!’ and his whole schtick goes out the window.”

Tate has risen to prominence on TikTok thanks to his divisive world views, despite not having an account himself.

The 35-year-old claims to be a ‘trillionaire’ and lives in Romania, regularly posting images of his lavish lifestyle to Instagram.

Logan isn’t entirely sure Tate will be as culturally significant a few months down the line.

He added: “When I’m shopping the idea around to my advisors, they’re concerned that he won’t be as poppin’ as he is right now, or as relevant, in December or January.”

There’s no doubting the bout would garner huge interest given popularity of both men.
