Fans Accuse Kim Kardashian of ‘Photoshop to the Extreme’ After Seeing New Photo of Her in a Teeny Tiny Corset
Kim Kardashian has come under fire once again after fans suspected she’d altered her appearance in at least one of the photos from 2024 that she “found…in [her] phone” and uploaded to Instagram on Sunday, Jan. 5.
In the very first photo of a full carousel of snaps—which also features a backstage selfie with daughter North West ahead of her Hollywood Bowl performance in The Lion King, the whole family wearing pajamas with Kris Jenner’s face on them and more—the reality star posed in an impossibly tiny skin-tone corset with sheer paneling.
She rested her hands on top of her head and crossed her legs, which were clad in nude-colored leggings and ended in a pair of PVC platforms.
While many fans praised the look, with one simply commenting, “WAIST,” some were concerned that the photo was “photoshopped to the extreme.”
Kardashian has previously been called out for setting a “gross beauty standard” with her waist-cinching fashion choices, and some felt that the photograph had been manipulated, suggesting that her arm and the seam of the blanket held up behind her looked “wonky.”
One even thought the glass straws in the tumblers full of water on the table next to her looked edited. Meanwhile, others defended the SKIMS founder, with one pointing out, “i think yall forget what corsets do🌚.”
“It’s called a waist trainer 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️ ya obv don’t know nun bout fashion,” said another.
Someone else expressed concern for the mother of four, begging her not to wear the undergarment for “long periods of time.”
