Fans criticized Kim Kardashian when at a recent event, the 8X star turned Princess Diana’s iconic necklace into something extremely vulgar and indecent.
The 44-year-old reality TV star wore a very sexy outfit at the LACMA Art + Film Gala 2024 event held over the weekend in Los Angeles (USA). Kim Kardashian combined a quartz cross necklace – a favorite jewelry of Princess Diana, with a white dress with a deep cut showing off her sexy bust and hot body.

In January 2023, Kim Kardashian quietly purchased Princess Diana’s vintage diamond cross named Attallah Cross for nearly $200,000 at an auction held by Sotheby’s in London (UK).
Critics were quick to slam the mother-of-four as “uncool” and “unlikely” for her fashion choices. Viewers commented: “She turned it into something vulgar”; “She had the nerve to wear that iconic necklace with this dress. Totally uneducated, narcissistic, unattractive piece of brain.”
The large cross necklace is a symbol associated with the image of Princess Diana.

The princess wore the piece to many events, including film premieres and stage shows, over the years. But the most memorable was at the Birthright Charity Gala in 1987, when she paired the cross with a string of pearls and a purple velvet dress by designer Catherine Walker. At that time, Princess Diana created a signature style, both regal and individual, that left a strong impression on the public.
The Attallah Cross was originally crafted by Garrand & Co. in the 1920s and features a square-cut amethyst surrounded by 5.25 carats of round-cut diamonds and pearls.

This is not the first time the 8X beauty has worn a “timeless” item that once belonged to another famous star. Previously, at the 2022 Met Gala, Kim Kardashian caused a stir when she re-wore Marilyn Monroe’s “Happy Birthday Mr. President” dress.
