Jennifer Lopez is indisputably the queen of swimsuits, and now that the sun is finally out, she is ready to reign over her kingdom and its peasants (us). She is often wearing the boldest swim trends, and while she always looks incredible, her taste tends to gravitate towards the most universally flattering styles.

To grace the cover of InStyle this month, Lopez wore one of her favorite summer trends: a statement one-piece. But unlike her go-to look, this one wasn’t white, and it featured embellishments along the V-neck.

People often associate one-piece swimsuits with the type Baywatch made famous, monochrome and simple. And while Lopez definitely has more than a couple that fit that description, she’s been more bold with her swimwear as of late. The statement one-piece trend is popular on Amazon too, where you can find hundreds available that cost no more than $23. Most notably, the brand Cupshe has a handful of options like Lopez’s with a deep V cut and lace details that line it.

Honestly, it’s hard to find a swimwear brand that doesn’t make a statement one-piece these days. The style has only gotten more popular since its initial surge thanks to its vintage appeal. Brands like Burberry and Tory Burch have styles that, while more expensive than the options on Amazon, are still far less expensive than their label’s other offerings. There are also popular high-end swimwear brands like Marysia, which extend its signature scalloped style to a one-piece that almost always sells out.

Wearing a Jennifer Lopez-inspired swimsuit may not instantly give you her rock hard abs in(rude), but it will make you look your best on the beach. And who doesn’t want to look as happy as Lopez on a beach? Long live the swimwear queen.
