After settling her $30 million federal lawsuit against ex-boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs, Cassie is now preparing to embark on a music tour.

According to her former collaborator Ryan Leslie, she is gearing up for a series of concerts, leaving the controversy behind.

Cassie, who filed the lawsuit last month, alleged that over the course of their decade-long relationship, Diddy trafficked, rаped, drᴜgged, and severely abused her multiple times.

However, both Diddy and Cassie, whose full name is Casandra Ventura, announced the following day that they had reached an agreement. The details of the settlement remain undisclosed.

Diddy’s legal troubles are far from over, as additional women have since come forward with lawsuits. One accuser claimed that Diddy was involved in a gаng rаpe when she was just 17 years old.

Beyond their past romance, Leslie—a songwriter and producer—has a professional relationship with Cassie, having written several songs for her.

Leslie mentioned that their most recent conversation hinted that Cassie was actively planning a tour.

When asked by TMZ if he ever thought Diddy posed a danger to Cassie while they worked together, Leslie replied, “That was likely far removed from the time of our collaborations.” Leslie, who co-wrote multiple tracks for Cassie under Diddy’s Bad Boy label, including her 2006 hit “Me & U,” clarified the timeline of their involvement.

Following the settlement with Cassie, Diddy’s attorney Benjamin Brafman told DailyMail.com that accepting a settlement does not imply guilt, especially in today’s legal environment.

Brafman further emphasized, “Mr. Combs’ decision to settle the lawsuit in no way contradicts his firm denial of the allegations. He wishes Ms. Ventura well and is pleased they were able to reach a mutual agreement.”
