Tyson will fight professionally for the first time since 2005 when he takes on YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul at AT&T Stadium in Texas on November 15, live on Netflix.

McBride sent a severely beaten ‘Iron Mike’ into retirement with a sixth-round win nearly 20 years ago.

Despite the convincing win, the Irishman admitted the former heavyweight champion’s power was still formidable.

McBride told Instant Casinos: “When Tyson hit me, I swear I saw Leprechaun playing drums in my head, so I grabbed him by the neck and whispered to him ‘is that all you can do?’ and he went crazy.

“If you watch the slow-motion replay, you can see him biting my nipple.

“When you’re a fighter like Tyson, I can tell you he’s going in there to win and get the job done. He doesn’t want to look back and think he let Jake Paul off the hook.“He’s going in there to win and Paul’s going to need to be at his best to survive.

“I can tell from the media that Tyson has done everything so far that he wants to win, it’s in his blood, the competition will never leave him.”Paul, 27, has won four straight since his only professional loss to Tommy Fury, when he knocked out former UFC fighter Mike Perry in July.

‘The Problem Child’ has yet to call it quits on his career so far, but McBride said he is backing his former rival to secure an early stoppage despite Paul being 31 years his junior.

“All Mike Tyson has to do is connect and Jake Paul will be seeing the Christmas lights next week.

“He’ll be on the clock in the first couple of rounds and it’ll be over.

“Tyson is a legend and if he beats Paul, you can tell him if he wants revenge for his loss, go for it.

“I will come back from retirement to fight Mike Tyson again. Or if either man withdraws, I will step in.”
