LOVE Island star Leah Kateb has visited the Call Her Daddy podcast studio to share her side of the story.

The Los Angeles native opened up about her relationship with Rob Rausch during Season 6 of the hit reality dating series.

Leah, 24, and Rob, 25, had a major connection during the beginning of Love Island, which made a lasting impression on fans.

Earlier this week, Rob dished on the former couple’s relationship in the Love Island villa, telling host Alex Cooper, 29, that they have remained friends.

Leah made it to the show’s finale alongside her partner, Miguel Harichi.

Leah moved on to Miguel after Rob began to connect with other women – including bombshell Andrea, who was quickly eliminated.

However, Leah admitted she was “mortified” by some of the comments Rob made about their relationship on the show, including that he felt “no sexual chemistry” with her, which Rob has denied ever saying.

“Every bad thing I ever thought about myself literally just swarming in my head,” said Leah.

“I’ve never felt that embarrassed in my life. I felt so unwanted, so gross.

“Literally every bad thing I’ve thought about myself was confirmed in that moment.”

Leah said she didn’t know why Rob said those words, asking why he would specifically say that about a woman.

“I feel like it’s taken me a while to get to a place where I’m like, oh, I feel good about myself of how I look,” she said.

“I’m very critical about myself. And I think that it just took me, I don’t know, I think it put me in a very bad head space. I’ll just tell you that.”

At some point, Leah began tearing up, saying that Rob’s words were “hurtful.”

“I wouldn’t have guessed he felt like that,” she said. “It was just shocking.”

Alex became emotional as well as she admitted that any woman could relate to Leah’s feelings.

“You feel so embarrased by…I thought we had something here and you literally are off of me,” said Alex.

ROB OPENS UP

When discussing his relationship with Leah, Rob told Alex that he was content with being friends.

“The entire world wanted you guys to end up together. Would you ever try to make it work in the real world?” Alex asked the reality star.

“I think after everything, I think we will be amazing friends, and I think I’d rather just focus on that for now,” Rob answered.

“Love being around her. She’s an amazing person. So f***ing funny. I am laughing the whole time I’m with her usually.”

“I think that we’re great friends and that’s a great spot to be [in] and I’m happy with it,” he added.

Rob also noted what a “great guy” Miguel is and said he “loves” him.

While the two may not have worked out in the end, Love Island fans had been rooting for their undeniable chemistry.

“I want Rob and Leah back together. The chemistry is too raw I’m sorry!” one viewer wrote on X earlier this year.

“I’m rooting for Rob and Leah. Like why can’t they just be together?!?!?” another asked.

Just a few days before Rob’s interview was released, Miguel opened up about his future plans with Leah.

“Leah is an incredible woman. [We] get along in a way that I wasn’t expecting to ever get along with anybody in the villa,” he told Us Weekly.

“We have such similarities, our banter is the same. She understands my goofy side. She understands me for who I am. She took me away [with] how incredible of a person she is.”

Miguel also described Leah as “someone that I’ll hold dear for, I think, the rest of my life.”

While Miguel and Leah made it to the finale episode, they did not take home the $100,000 prize grand prize.
