Cristiano Ronaldo’s views on the difficulties surrounding Kylian Mbappe at Real Madrid are causing a stir on social media. Ronaldo has previously stated that Mbappe will not easily shine at Real Madrid.

In a recent conversation with former teammate Rio Ferdinand on his personal YouTube channel , Ronaldo gave his opinion on Mbappe’s challenges at one of the biggest clubs in the world.

This clip is going viral in the context of Mbappe’s continuous disappointment.

“Let’s see if Mbappe can stay calm and deal with the pressure, because Real Madrid is not PSG,” Ronaldo said. “I can’t say for sure. What will Mbappe do in Madrid? How can you say Real Madrid will be better (with Mbappe – PV) or how? No one knows, let’s wait and see.”

Ronaldo stressed that Real Madrid have a great squad, but the pressure and expectations at the Spanish club are completely different to PSG.

The Portuguese superstar suggested that the expectations at Real Madrid can be a burden for any player, including Mbappe.

“I think Real Madrid will still be strong, but I don’t know if they will play better than last year. I don’t know, we have to wait and see. Only God knows. But they have a great squad, great players,” CR7 added.

On December 2, Mbappe scored in a 2-0 win over Getafe in La Liga , but the joy did not last long.  In the match 1-2 loss to Athletic Bilbao in round 19 of La Liga, Mbappe missed a penalty kick in the 68th minute.

Despite some promising moments, the former PSG striker has failed to shine in important matches and is facing increasing pressure.

Mbappe has missed two penalties in all competitions, the most by a player in La Liga in the 2024/25 season.

At this time, coach Carlo Ancelotti and his team have thrown away their advantage in the 2024/25 La Liga championship race.

Currently, Real Madrid is still 4 points behind Barcelona but has only 1 match left to play.
