Jake Paul called out Conor McGregor less than 12 hours after beating a 58-year-old Mike Tyson.

Paul, 27, overcame boxing icon Tyson – who was the undisputed world heavyweight champion from 1987 to 1990 – via unanimous decision on Friday night following eight two-minute rounds.

The event was the subject of widespread criticism, largely based on the age gap between the two men.

Former two-weight UFC champion McGregor vented his disapproval on X (formerly Twitter) as he wrote: ‘A 16 minute spar in sparring gloves. F*** off.’

McGregor later deleted the tweet but that did not prevent Paul from responding via the same platform.

Paul hit back: ‘Dear Conor, I know you told my team you would fight me at 170lbs. That’s never happening. But let’s run it in MMA. No weight class. Just like how it used to be done. But you won’t’.

McGregor and Paul had previously traded blows via social media.

In July, after Paul had knocked out Mike Perry, McGregor described the YouTube star as the ‘biggest p***bag I have ever seen in my life’.

The Irishman added: ’40 pound weight difference, juiced out of his head, and still s***ting himself in there. Nakisa you should take him to Vegas oh that’s right you could never, the athletic commission testing, real testing, real fighting.

‘B***h a**es. You could never. And then calling out 60-year-old Mike Tyson fresh off an in flight medical emergency? I swear to god, a fat can of b***h p***. Most valuable p***bag.’

The pair have not been fond of each other for a while now, with Paul making it clear that he fancies a shot at McGregor.

However, it had previously been assumed that any fight would likely take place in a boxing ring.

Paul had an instant response for McGregor’s criticism following his win over Perry.

He fired back: ‘That’s f***ed up that he fired your BKFC champion. I told you that was going to happen. I told you exactly what was going to happen.’

Paul did not stop there.

After gathering some time to collect his thoughts after his win over Perry, he took aim at McGregor again in his post-fight press conference.

‘He was big-upping his boy Mike Perry,’ Paul continued. ‘I said, “OK Conor, after I f*** up Mike Perry, then you’re next.”

‘So Conor’s on Twitter all the time. He’s on his yacht all the time.

‘Guess where he’s not? In the ring, fighting me.

‘So he can talk all the f*** he wants, but The Notorious MMA is scared of Jake Joseph Paul from Disney channel. And I put that on my mama.’
