🚨 Joe Rogan has a theory about Conor McGregor’s erratic behavior

Joe Rogan believes CTE could be to blame for Conor McGregor’s actions over the last few years.

The Irishman has been involved in several controversial moments in recent times, from punching an elderly man to being found liable of sexual assault.

UFC commentator Joe Rogan has put forward a different angle about McGregor’s behaviour.

Speaking on the JRE Podcast he said, “I think there’s another issue to talk about and that is that a lot of fighters, when they’ve sustained a significant amount of damage over the course of their career and there’s no way to not get that, right? We’ve all seen Conor get beat up and knocked out, we’ve seen Conor’s sparring footage. He spars pro boxers, he’s sparring elite fighters. You’re getting hit in the head a lot. And a lot of fighters, especially towards the end of their career, turn to dr-gs.”

Rogan added, “And I think there’s probably a constant state of discomfort that they live in, where their dopamine levels are all f—ed up, their cortisol levels are all f—ed up…”

“You’re not supposed to get punched in the head a thousand times a year. It’s just not supposed to happen. And that’s the reality of consistent training.”

Rogan concluded, “I don’t know the real details of that case. I know his version of it and her version of it and what played out in the court. But the reality is that guy’s partying, and he’s partying real hard and he talked about it [partying] in the court case.”

CTE or Chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) is a progressive brain condition that worsens over time and is thought to be linked to repeated head injuries. It’s associated with contact sports like American Football and boxing, and can affect people who’ve experienced multiple concussions or traumatic brain injuries. CTE slowly damages the brain, leading to dementia and affecting thinking, behavior, personality, speech, and balance.

Recently, Conor McGregor, lost a civil case where he was accused of raping Nikita Hand at a Dublin hotel in 2018.

The MMA star was accused of raping Nikita Hand, who was awarded €248,603 (£206,000) in damages after a jury found that he was guilty of assaulting her.

Dana White gave a reporter a typically blunt response when asked about Conor McGregor.

UFC president, White was asked to comment about the McGregor case, but aggressive White dismissed the line of questioning Saturday night at UFC 310’s post-fight conference in Las Vegas.

“What do you mean, what’s my reaction? If I had a comment, I would’ve put it out already,” White said.

When he was pressed further about the Irishman’s future White once again was in dismissive mood.

“He hasn’t been fighting here in, I don’t know how long,” White said.

“Well, if he does fight, it’ll be sometime next year,” he added.
