Nate Diaz shared a brilliant moment with a fan recently.

The fan approached Nate Diaz for an autograph and things took a wild and unsuspecting turn.

Instead of signing immediately, Diaz initiated a playful sparring match, taking down his opponent and landing some delicate blows on his new sparring partner.

“This dude pulled up on me to sign these gloves, so I made him fight me,” Diaz says in the clip posted to his Instagram story that was reshared on X.

“He lost tho. Shoutout to homie he was down to fight”, he added.

The footage has since sparked a flurry of responses from the fight community on social media. Enthusiasts of the sport chimed in with their takes on the spontaneous street bout:
