Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury collide again on December 21st.

The heavyweights put on a show in Saudi Arabia with the Ukrainian edging out ‘The Gypsy King’ via split-decision.

In doing so he became the first man to become the undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis achieved the feat in 1999.

Looking at the heavyweight scene there are not too many viable options for the heavyweight champion except another potential rematch.

Usyk’s manager Egis Klimas has admitted that a proposed rematch with current IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois remains as the only tempting fight after the Fury showdown.

“When Oleksandr beats Tyson for the second time, there will be no more interesting boxers left in his weight category, except for Daniel Dubois. He is the IBF title holder. Many people still remember the first fight and that controversial blow. It would be a perfect rematch, a fight for the title of absolute world champion.”

In their first fight Dubois landed a body shot that sent Usyk down to the canvas, but the blow was ruled as low.

Many fans and pundits debated whether it was a legal shot or not and since that fight Dubois has been on a solid run en route to winning the IBF heavyweight crown.
