Beyonce’s daughter Rumi Carter has made history as she has become the youngest female artist to ever appear on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at just six years old.

Beyonce’s six-year-old daughter, Rumi Carter, is making her mark in the music industry by becoming the youngest female singer to feature on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The young artist and spitting image of Beyonce and Jay-Z, achieved this remarkable milestone when she featured in her mother’s hit song Protector from her newly released country-inspired album, Cowboy Carter.

This week, Protector secured the 42nd spot on the Hot 100 chart, garnering 11.3 million streams in the US during its first week of release.

Rumi introduces the acoustic ballad with a request to Beyonce: “Mom, can I hear the lullaby please?”

In Protector, Beyonce reflects on her identity as a mother and expresses her pride and protective instincts for her three children, including her six-year-old twins and 12-year-old daughter.

The chorus of the song features the 42-year-old singer promising: “And I will lead you down that road if you lose your way / Born to be a protector / Even though I know someday you’re gonna shine on your own / I will be your projector.”

Rumi’s name on the list shatters the previous record for the youngest artist on the chart, a record previously held by her older sister Blue Ivy.

The now 12-year-old first made it onto the chart in 2019 when she featured on her mother’s song Brown Skin Girl at just seven years old.

Blue also bagged her first Grammy Award at the tender age of 9 for the acclaimed music video for Brown Skin Girl.

Beyonce has also been smashing records with her new album Cowboy Carter.

In February, Queen Bey’s hit track Texas Hold ‘Em’ climbed to number one on the Hot Country Songs chart, making her the first Black woman to achieve this feat in music history.

The song continues to dominate the chart, holding its number one position for an impressive eight weeks straight.

Beyonce’s track dethroned Zach Bryan and Kacey Musgrave’s hit I Remember Everything which had reigned at number one for 20 weeks.
