Many of Kris Jenner‘s Instagram followers have cast a critical eye over her latest post, with some suggesting she may have used Photoshop to amplify her bikini-clad figure in commemoration of her close friend Shelli Azoff‘s birthday.

The Kardashians star and “momager,” 68, posted a heartfelt tribute to her pal on June 3rd, including various pictures of them over the past forty years, some of which were throwback images from their youth, and others from more recent high-profile events in recent years.

However, many of Jenner’s fans had a bone to pick with one particular image of the pair laughing and posing in the ocean. The mom of six was seen sporting a polka dot bikini top with a low-cut neckline that emphasized her curves, and a large hat along with oversized sunglasses. Her followers immediately suspected the photo to be digitally altered and “heavily edited.”

Kris Jenner Faces Photoshop And Heavy Editing Accusations Once Again

Earlier this week, Jenner captioned her photo collection upload: “Happy Birthday to my amazing BFF Shelli! @shellibird1 We’ve shared so many incredible memories over the last four decades, and I’m so grateful for your friendship and the love, laughter, joy, support, fun, and the endless surprises you have brought to my life. We are so blessed to have been through so much together!!”

She continued: “You are the most amazing mother, grandmother, friend, wife, sister, auntie, and one of the funniest, smartest and most generous people I’ve ever known. You’ve been there through everything, and I can’t imagine life without you. Thank you for being my by side all of these years. I cherish you and love you more than you know!! Here’s to many more adventures and beautiful moments together!”

Fans headed to the comments section to share their thoughts. “Something seems off with pic 5…. hmmmm… i wonder what it could be?” one wrote regarding the beachy snap. Another concurred in a separate Reddit thread, commenting: “Did Kris get a boob job…. or just photoshop…?” Someone else replied: “poor Photoshop job.”

“That is some of the worst photoshop I’ve ever seen; Everything looks photoshopped here. OMG, they have given up hiding it,” another noted while someone else wrote: “This photo is fake in every way. Nothing about it is real. It’s a poor photoshop job; Lmao the photoshop is so visible.”

The internet has repeatedly criticized Jenner and her famous offspring for their “excessive” use of filters on photos and videos throughout the years. The practice has become a recurrent topic of discussion and controversy.

Back in April, Jenner marked the “anniversary” of her friendship with Mariah Carey on IG, sharing selfies of the pair and images from the 2022 Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda Women’s Show in Sicily, Italy. While some praised the sweet nature of the reality star and Grammy winner’s relationship and the wholesome pictures, others accused Jenner of applying filters that seemed to digitally modify her and Carey’s appearance.

On March 27th (also Carey’s birthday), Jenner shared eight photos of herself and the “Always Be My Baby” hitmaker, 55, together over recent years.

Fans flocked to the comments section to air their greivances. “Filters are filtering,” one wrote as another added: “going hard on the filter.” Someone else chimed in, writing: “Why all the time put filters stay natural you are beautiful,” as one other replied: “aww the baby filter.”

Earlier this year, Jenner also came under fire for alleged “filtering” after starring in an Oreo ad back in January.  A swarm of fans flooded Instagram, deeming her appearance in the ad to be “unrecognizable” and “over-filtered,” leaving many perplexed.

On January 17th, the Kardashians matriarch shared the ad with her followers, in which she wore a chic red blazer with gold buttons, matching shiny hoop earrings and a black top underneath. Jenner captioned the post: “Every story has a twist.” Many fans in the comment section noted that the reality star’s skin looked “blurred” and that her spiky newly layered ‘do reminded them of the haircut she had during season one of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. “How did we get here? Well, to answer that, I’d have to go back to the beginning,” Jenner said while twisting one Oreo and cookie before showing a stacked glass jar of them “I better go warn the kids.”

Despite the nostalgic nature of the clip, several comments noted an unusual aspect of Jenner’s appearance, implying that something was “off” or different. “Is that AI or just a lot of filter?” one commented as someone else replied: “This is an AI commercial.” One other added: “Is this AI Kris?” as another concurred: “Did.. did they ai kris jenner.”

In the ad, Jenner rocked thick black liner, smokey eyeshadow, voluminous lashes, rosy blush and a mauve lipstick. Jenner aimed to promote her Super Bowl commercial with this teaser, but it seemed that many fans just “couldn’t get over” the airbrushed look of her skin in it rather than its funny and throwback sentiment. Jenner has yet to respond to any of these “filtering” or “AI” accusations.
