The boxing legend compared Tyson and Lewis when speaking to Ring Magazine for their Best I Faced feature, and felt Tyson was the better man.

“Tyson had it all. The hunger to win the belt, to fight, to move and the determination to knock out anyone that crossed him when he was at his peak.

He knew that the quicker he could get rid of someone, the less chance he had of getting caught and he was determined to get rid of someone quickly.”

He also told Max Boxing that he would rather fight Lewis ‘five days a week’ than face Tyson again.

“I boxed Tyson twice and I boxed Lennox Lewis, and I would rather box Lennox Lewis five days a week than fight a Mike Tyson. He was awkward, short, dangerous, and when he was fit, he was dangerous. ”
