Kim Kardashian has filed for a restraining order against a man who she claims attempted to gain access to her home and told security he was her ‘longterm manager’

Kim Kardashian has lodged a request for a restraining order against a man she alleges tried to infiltrate her home.

The 43-year-old reality TV sensation has submitted legal documents seeking a protection order to keep Melvin Jeffery Conley, 32, away from her and her family following allegations he attempted to “jump the fence” to gain access to the TV personality’s Malibu, California mansion.

It was reported by TMZ that the documents allege Conley also appeared at her mother Kris Jenner’s residence claiming to be Kim’s “long-term manager” and a player for the Toronto Raptors basketball team, telling security guards he had an appointment with Kim that day.

In the legal documents, Kim alleges she has experienced “worry, concern and severe emotional distress”, with TMZ adding that the star stated her home is “not easy to find nor publicised and it shows the lengths he is willing to go to make contact with her and her kids”.

The paperwork also suggests that Kim was alerted about Conley by her ‘American Horror Story’ co-star Emma Roberts, who was granted a five-year restraining order against him earlier this year. The outlet reports that Conley was previously accused of breaking into Emma’s home in May and phoning the actress from the property’s landline.

The documents suggest Emma informed Kim she’d been warned Conley was trying to get in touch with ‘The Kardashians’ star and her children. In Emma’s previous court filing, she claimed she was “living in fear that [Conley] is going to try and come back to her home”.

She was granted a restraining order that protects both her and her three-year-old son. The order prohibits Conley from coming within 100 yards of her, her son, their home, her workplace, and his school for the next five years.

It comes after Kim claimed that she could rule the USA as the country continues its build-up to the next election in November. Speaking about her leadership ambitions on ‘The Kardashians’, the 43-year-old actress made the statement after watching a whole season of The Crown, Netflix’s drama about the Royal Family.

Kim, who recently joined the cast of American Horror Story, joked: “I’m not gonna lie: I just watched the whole season of The Crown. I could fully f***ing rule a country. I learned so much!” Kim also said that as well as watching The Crown she was entering her “actress era”, something she didn’t think was going to happen.
