Kourtney and Kim’s feud is back with a vengeance after they watched Season 3 of The Kardashians, with Kourtney admitting, “What’s harder than living it in real time is watching it back in the edit.”

Back in July, Season 3 of The Kardashians came to an end after an explosive few episodes that largely focused on Kim Kardashian’s feud with Kourtney Kardashian.

In case you missed it, the sisters clashed after Kim featured ’90s-inspired outfits in her Dolce & Gabbana collaboration last year — just four months after the designer brand hosted Kourtney’s wedding to Travis Barker and opened their ’90s archive for her and her guests.

Kourtney felt that Kim’s collection copied her wedding, and even accused her of using her big day as a “business opportunity” with Dolce. She also claimed that all of her friends had told her that Kim was “spiraling” and miserable at her wedding, and that she “didn’t feel truly supported.”

Breaking down in tears, Kourtney accused Kim of putting “dollar signs” before her family, with Kim remaining defiant and insisting that she shouldn’t have to ask “permission” when taking on business deals.

Kim and Kourtney’s younger sister Khloé Kardashian also got involved, teaming up with Kim to brand Kourtney a “hater.” Later, their mom, Kris Jenner, poked fun at Kourtney when she attended a D&G dinner with her other daughters.

Despite all of the drama, the season ended with Kim and Kourtney on much better terms after they sat down to hash out their issues. But in true Kardashian style, this didn’t last for long.

Soon after the season began airing, Khloé revealed that Kourtney had removed herself from four different family group chats after watching footage from the show.

And in the first episode of The Kardashians Season 4, which premiered this week, Kim and Kourtney got seriously real about the impact that their family reality show has on their actual lives.

In fact, even though Kim and Kourtney had drawn a line under their feud by the time filming for Season 3 had ended back in January, watching the season back stirred up past tension and reignited it once again.

“The problem is, and I’ll be real with you guys, this is a real problem,” Kim said of her and Kourtney’s relationship at the start of this week’s episode of the show. “Last season was really rough. Then we were over it, we had fun — you saw we did that Christmas album. We talked it out — like, everything had been fine.”

She went on, “And then we watch the edits for our show. And I start hearing what she’s saying about me, she hears what I’m saying about her, and then we get mad all over again. It brings up so many, so many feelings.”

And Kourtney echoed this sentiment in her own confessional, sharing, “I think last season was really hard. What’s harder than living it in real time is watching it back in the edit, which isn’t a natural way of living.”

She then revealed that she was due to join the entire family on a trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, which was featured later in the episode, but dropped out just three days before the vacation following a “heated phone call” that she’d had with Kim.

Luckily for viewers, this phone call was captured by the Hulu cameras, and it is perhaps one of the most brutal arguments in Kardashian history.

While the conversation started out cordial, with Kim inviting Kourtney to a D&G dinner in Milan, it ended with Kourtney calling Kim out for being a “narcissist” and accusing her of being unable to cope when somebody else is the “center of attention.”

Meanwhile, Kim viciously claimed that Kourtney’s own children come to her to complain about their mom, and that she is in a group chat with all of Kourtney’s closest friends, where they gossip about her.

After Kourtney turned down the invite to the dinner, she insisted that while she is “always supportive,” she didn’t “think it’s cool the way that particular thing happened.” She then coyly added, “It’s not about that, it’s about the deeper thing.”

“I understand,” Kim replied. “I mean, I got worked up watching the episode and watching the cut, so I can only imagine. … I see both sides, like I said. I think you see things and you get riled up; I see things and I get riled up…”

“I’m actually not riled up,” Kourtney calmly interrupted. “I just think it makes me not want to be around.”

Referencing Kim’s decision to take the Dolce deal so soon after her wedding, Kourtney added, “I think it’s that you saw this thing that was mine and that wasn’t yours, and that you wanted it. You took it and made it bigger.”

“No, that’s where I think that you’re wrong,” Kim insisted before explaining that she had actually told Khloé that she didn’t like the vibe of Kourtney’s wedding because “visually it was not [her] thing.”

She then said, “Kourtney, it’s not that original. Everyone does ’90s. It’s not a new concept, is what I’m trying to say.”

But Kourtney argued that Kim was missing the point, adding, “You’re talking about the bullshit details because it’s all your egotistical, selfish mind can think about. You cannot stand someone else being the center of attention.”

“You came to my wedding; you couldn’t be happy,” she went on. “You complained from the second you got there until the second you left. That’s what it’s about. Forget about you couldn’t be happy, you couldn’t be happy for me. You couldn’t be happy that I was the center of attention and you weren’t.”

Kim immediately denied these claims and asked, “What is it that you think so low of me? Why do you hate me so much, and why are you so angry with me? Because all of this never happened. I was so happy for you; why would I not be happy for you?”

“You have a serious vendetta,” she went on. “You just hate us; you’re a different person. We all talk about it.”

As Kourtney said that she doesn’t “need” her family anymore because she doesn’t wish to be “a part of” the constant drama, Kim said, “All of your friends call us complaining,” before adding, “We’re on a group chat that’s actually labeled ‘Not Kourtney.’”

“They’re your friends. The ones that you speak to on a daily basis,” Kim reiterated, saying that the group exists so that she can set Kourtney’s friends straight about things that she’s told them about the family.

“You are a narcissist,” Kourtney fired back. “It is all about you. Anything you do, it’s about you and about how it looks to the world about you, so you just want to clear up your facts. Take up my whole fucking side of the episode, I don’t give a fuck what anyone thinks about me.”

Sitting beside Kim in a confessional after the dramatic phone call, Kourtney was asked by producers what had “triggered” her. At this point, she accused Kim of “weaponizing” everyone in her life in a bid to “hurt” her.

“There’s so many thoughts that come up after watching all of the edits,” Kourtney said. “It felt to me, like, in the call, Kim was just using any weapon that she could find to hurt me. Just everything. Almost like weaponizing everyone against me, and I think we both got to a place that we weren’t proud of.”

Kourtney continued, “I think the phone conversation was really hurtful, and I felt reminded of this characteristic that has been in my family for years, where we say mean things to hurt each other. And it’s what I work hard in therapy to change.”
