In the last few years, North West, daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, has become a fan-favorite on The Kardashians. The reason for her rise to fame is her blunt, straightforward, and often honest nature, which goes against the very nature of ‘The Kardashian Loyalty Pact’.

In Episode 9 of Season 4 of The Kardashians, the series focuses on the Kardashian clan’s 2023 Met Gala looks and features some enticing details. In the episode, Kendall Jenner tells Kylie Jenner about how Kim Lied to her about her Met Gala look, stating,

Kim was telling me like all night, she’s like, ‘No no no, it’s great, it’s great, your look is great. I love it, I love it, I love it.’ And then North and Penelope were in my room after… I was like, ‘Your mom said she really liked my look too,’ and she goes, ‘She was lying. She told me she did not like your look.’ 

While the supermodel expressed she felt taken aback by her sister’s blunt lies and her niece’s revelation, she felt happy to be both of her nieces’ favorite. Kim Kardashian, however, was not pleased and revealed that she had actually said how she liked another look of Kendall’s better than the all-black ensemble sequin bodysuit and sky-high platform boots she wore.

In the episode, while Kendall Jenner revealed how taken aback she had felt hearing her sister was not honest with her, Kim Kardashian was giving her daughter, North West, a lesson in loyalty. In one of the behind-the-scenes videos of the Met Gala 2023, a mortified Kim told North,

You need to have some like loyalty. When mommy talks shit about people, you cannot go tell them. Why would you tell Auntie Kendall I hated her outfit?

While she went on to state how rude of her it was to do that and that she should stay loyal to the family, North remained as unhinged as ever. As an Instagram reel featuring the scenes went viral, fans had a kick out of North’s bluntness and reacted so in the comments:
