Prince Harry may reportedly be trying hard to patch things up with his father, King Charles, and brother, Prince William – with little to no success, it seems – but royal insiders have insisted that it won’t happen until he and wife Meghan Markle stop using their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles for monetary gain.
According to reports, Prince Harry, 39, has actually been told by several members of the royal family that he and Meghan, 42, need to stop using their royal family connections to make money if they want to reconcile. But given all their current and upcoming projects, it doesn’t seem like that’s going to happen any time soon…

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Have Reportedly Been Told To Stop Making Money ‘Off Their Associations With The Royal Family’
“Members from the royal family have told Harry, if he wants a relationship with the rest of the family, then first and foremost, he has got to stop talking about them,” royal correspondent Russell Myers told Sky News Australia, in reference to Prince Harry’s bombshell memoir Spare, the controversial Harry and Meghan Netflix docuseries, and the many other times they have spoken about the family in interviews since stepping down as senior royals.
“They can’t go about making money off their associations with the royal family,” Myers continued, adding: “They’re going to [have to] sort of realize, if they’re going to have a relationship with the rest of the royal family, they can’t go about trashing them.”
“Hopefully, they’ll see that the royal family are very united without them, and if they do want a relationship, going forward, they need to take the steam out of their relationship and out of the things they say sometimes,” he concluded.

This was echoed by The King: The Life of Charles III author Christopher Andersen, who claimed that if Prince Harry and Meghan want a future in the royal family, especially with King Charles and Prince William, they need to make some serious changes.
“Harry and Meghan have drifted so far out to sea as far as King Charles III and Prince William are concerned,” Andersen told Fox News Digital. “There is really no foreseeable way in which they’ll ever be welcomed back,” he continued.

“Even if Harry was to throw himself at the King’s feet and beg for forgiveness – which Harry is not about to do – the best he could hope for would be crumbs from the royal table, and the sort of grudging acceptance that is currently being afforded to Harry’s disgraced uncle, Prince Andrew,” Andersen speculated.
He added: “If Harry and Meghan are determined to monetize their titles, then they’ll just be digging that hole deeper and deeper. But if they simply use their California-centric celebrity to build their brand and steer clear of overtly capitalizing on the Sussex name and Windsor connection – well, everybody has a right to make a living. Even then, there would still be acrimony – and zero chance of Harry getting back into the King’s and William’s good graces.” Sounds like there’s a long way to go before any kind of reconciliation!
