Prince Harry Is Reportedly ‘Determined’ To Find His Own Home In The UK As Friends Aren’t Visiting Him In The US: ‘They Don’t Get On With Meghan’

Prince Harry is reportedly looking for a permanent home in the U.K. after being evicted from Frogmore Cottage last year.

The Duke of Sussex, 39, is reportedly more “determined” than ever to find a U.K. residence, as he’s hoping it could help him repair his bond with his old friends. His friends, if we are to believe reports, are reluctant to visit him in Montecito, California, where he currently lives with wife Meghan Markle, 42, and their two children Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3, as they “don’t get on” with the former Suits actress. Yikes!

Prince Harry Is ‘Determined’ To Find A Permanent Home In The UK After Frogmore Cottage Eviction

Prince Harry was reportedly “in tears” when his father, King Charles, kicked him out of Frogmore Cottage and gifted it to his disgraced uncle Prince Andrew instead. Prince Harry mentioned in his bombshell memoir Spare that he had hoped Frogmore Cottage would be his “forever home,” adding: “Instead, it had proved to be just another brief stop.”

Prince Harry has reportedly chosen to stay in hotels when visiting the U.K. since losing his royal residence – including last month when he briefly came for the Invictus Games 10th anniversary celebration at St. Paul’s Cathedral – which could perhaps be another reason he wants his own home! Another reason is reportedly because he misses his old, pre-U.S. life and friends…

“As time goes by, Harry misses some aspects of his old life in the U.K. Inevitably, the honeymoon period where everything in the States is new and exciting is coming to an end and Harry is looking back at the past through rose-tinted spectacles,” Gilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family author Tom Quinn told The Mirror.

“He misses his old Etonian and army friends, many of whom have not visited as they don’t get on with Meghan,” Quinn continued, adding: “Harry is determined to find his own permanent home in the U.K., which is partly why he’s continuing his legal action to get the British taxpayer to pay for his security.”
