And there are no prizes for guessing who the monarch chose!

The insider has even gone as far as to suggest that this ultimatum is one of the real reasons why King Charles didn’t see his son when he briefly visited the U.K. to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games earlier this month, and the fact that he had a “full” diary was just an excuse.

“Harry has made things very difficult for himself by saying such cruel and hurtful things about Camilla,” the royal insider, who is believed to be a close friend of the firm, told The Daily Beast.

“Charles loves his sons, but he also loves his wife,” they continued, before going on to reference how helpful Camilla has been to the institution over the last few months, while the King and the Princess of Wales have been going through their cancer battles.

“The last few months have made it very clear how important she is; she has been the one propping up the whole edifice,” the source continued, adding: “Harry has made it very clear, very publicly, that he despises her. He has forced Charles to choose, which was a very silly thing to do because Camilla and he both chose each other a long time ago.”

The Real Reason King Charles Didn’t See Prince Harry In The UK

While Prince Harry’s alleged ultimatum may be one of the real reasons for King Charles choosing to not see his son, there are reportedly a few other reasons too. If we are to believe some of the latest reports, Prince Harry apparently “made certain demands” for the potential meet-up, which made things practically impossible!

“There is some talk that behind the scenes, a lot of negotiating went on,” royal commentator Charlotte Griffiths told GB News, before going on to suggest that perhaps he asked to see his father without Queen Camilla present, which therefore made things very difficult.

“I think the reason was because Harry made certain demands about who could be in the room and who couldn’t,” Griffiths said. “Although on the surface it looks like a snub, Harry made it very difficult for his father.”
