The Portuguese icon was on vacation after the Euro 2024 campaign, due to which he missed all of Al-Nassr’s pre-season matches where the Riyadh-based club failed to bag a win.

Cristiano Ronaldo sends message ahead of Al-Nassr’s Saudi Super Cup clash

Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo has sent a message ahead of the Knights of the Najd’s Saudi Super Cup clash against Al-Taawoun. Taking to social media, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner shared pictures of himself and his club teammates in training, on Instagram on Tuesday, August 13. The caption read:

“Ready to go!”


Last season, Ronaldo scored 44 goals and provided 13 assists in 45 appearances across all competitions for Al-Nassr. Overall, he has recorded 58 goals and 15 assists in 64 matches since his arrival at the Saudi Pro League side in 2023 following his second stint at Manchester United.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s side are pitted against Al-Raed in their first Saudi Pro League fixture in the 2024-2025 season on August 22 at Al-Awwal Stadium.
